Screening
Responsible Partner Review: Each opportunity undergoes a rigorous evaluation by a dedicated "Responsible Partner" who possesses deep expertise in impact investing. This initial screening ensures the deal aligns with our investment thesis and impact focus areas.
Focus on Efficiency: We prioritize efficiency by incurring limited diligence expenses at this stage, allowing us to quickly identify promising opportunities for further evaluation.
Due Diligence
Gating Memo: Following the initial screening, a detailed "gating memo" is prepared by the Investment Committee (IC). This memo provides a comprehensive analysis of the opportunity, including its financial strength, social and environmental impact potential, and potential risks.
Comprehensive Evaluation: If the IC approves the gating memo, we initiate a full due diligence process. This may involve engaging external advisors with specialized industry knowledge to ensure a thorough and objective assessment of the investment.
Execution & Close
Investment Committee Approval: Once the due diligence process is complete, a final recommendation is presented to the Investment Committee for their approval.
Securing the Investment: Upon receiving IC approval, we move forward with executing the necessary legal and financial documentation to finalize the investment.
